I got to work immediately to solve this problem by re-inventing the classic sock from the ground up.
We found that the system that makes socks was broken ???
We discovered quickly that no sock factory, in any country we toured, was able to create the weave necessary to execute the ArchTek® sock.
In order to execute the demands the new technology required we needed custom machinery as traditional sock machines aren’t built to create a 5-layer weave. We knew we HAD to have this in our socks, without this they would not be perfect.
The next year and a half became a struggle that made Marine Corps training feel like a walk in the park.
I underwent dozens of surgeries and didn't have full function in my legs.
I was stiff everywhere, it hurt to move and I was forced to use assistive devices just to get up and go anywhere.
Depression, anxiety, anger, frustration, and fear clouded my mind as I worried about a life filled with pain.
Then, after months of therapy, pain killers, and dozens of other treatments that just didn’t work
-I finally said enough!
I Had Reached My Breaking Point And Something Had To Change!
I wasn’t myself. I wasn’t friendly. I wasn’t happy, and I just felt miserable all the time.
So Instead of spending the rest of my days on pain killers and “managing” the pain…

The arch in ArchTek® socks use a patented 5-layer dense yarn weave to stabilize the foot without weakening the arch structures (as plastic insoles often do).
